I wish to use a 10" BCM KMR rail system for my new build. I’m planning on using it for a 10.5" SBR in 7.62 Russian. I was sorta shocked to read the installation instructions that clearly warn not to use this rail in any other caliber than .223 / 5.56x45mm.
Idea is on hold till I get this question answered. I am emailing BCM but it’s the weekend so I’m not expecting any word till Monday.
Can anyone comment on my Issue?
Thanks, openbolt
To answer my own question…I did get my email to BCM answered and much to my surprise they indicated that all would be well using the 10.5" 7.62x39mm barrel with their 10" KMR rail. So I assembled the upper using the excellent instructions provided, took it to the range and it now happens to be my most accurate SBR IN AND CALIBER.
Thank you BCM the help when I needed it. All is well.
