Has anyone tried a Surefire KM2 vis/IR head on an M300 Mini Scout Light? Surefire says it’s for the 600 only but thought maybe someone got a wild hair ul there and tried it anyway. Performance?
It will not work. Not enough power to drive it.
The Surefire military rep sitting on my couch says…nope. Will not work.
Does this rep happen to know if a 3V Ir/Vis head is in the pipeline? 
Gah! Lame. Guess I’ll have to buy the full size. Would be cool to have an x300 that did both too, since the new one they had in the catalog isn’t available.
I know that a 3V version will along, I’m just not up to speed enough on the various LED technologies SureFire is implementing on their Vampire units, and how adaptable that would be to a 3W head on a small tube.
