King Abdullah to personally lead airstrikes against ISIS

http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/02/04/reports-jordanian-king-personally-flying-sorties-against-isis/

He is a certified Cobra pilot and has an pretty extensive military background.

Now compare to our fearless leader…

Doesn’t he know ISIS is jr varsity? He should be playing golf.

Should cue that pic of Obama riding the bicycle with a helmet on! Then show the pic of Abdullah in his flight suit.

That is one unhappy king.

Well if nothing else this is shaping up to be a good show to watch.

He is quoted as saying
“We will fight ISIS to our last bullet and last drop of Fuel.”
And we get:
“If you want to keep your Insurance you can keep it.”
I tend to believe the King rather than the wanna be King.

King Abdullah is really not a bad guy overall, especially by Middle Eastern standards (He also has probably the most beautiful wife of any head of state in the world, but that’s beside the point  ). If it’s the Arabs who need to take the lead in putting down ISIS, they can do a hell of a lot worse than Abdullah to lead them.

I like his approach. He’s pretty much saying if ISIS wants to turn back the clock to the days of inhuman savagery, he’ll turn back the clock to the days of the warrior king personally leading his men into battle.

Well, if you’re going to have a Muslim king, he’s the kind to have.

Meanwhile, we’ve got Pee Wee Herman.

It’s good to be the King…

He pretty much out-Putins Putin. Sigh, I wish we had a manly POTUS. Guess we’ll have to wait till Hillary returns to the Oval Office in 2017. :frowning:

He’s is saying everything that Obama and the so-called “moderate” Muslims here in the U.S. need to be saying. Abdullah has called the murdered pilot a “martyr” and has basically declared a jihad against radical Islam. Good. If you want to show the world that Islam is as peaceful as you say it is, purge these ISIS clowns from your ranks. Thank you, Abdullah for having the brass set our leader doesn’t have.

I’d never live under a Muslim king (though we kinda already do  ) or any king for that matter, as that would be an insult to the patriots who gave their lives 240 years ago to get rid of monarchs. I also don’t trust any Arab leaders overall, but Abdullah is the one who can be trusted the most. The Hashemites have never been very fond of radical Islamists (though Abdullah’s father, Hussein, was very pro-radical Arab nationalist and an ally of Saddam). Abdullah also grew up and was educated mostly in Britain and the U.S., served in the British Army, and his mother is English. He also only has one wife unlike pretty much all other Arab rulers (and when your wife is Queen Rania, you don’t need any others!), and both he and his queen are pretty progressive when it comes to Muslim women’s rights (she never wears a veil except in certain circumstances). As long as he left Israel alone, and he probably would, I wouldn’t have a problem with him taking the lead in most of the Arab world.

Before assuming the throne, Abullah II was a Major General in charge of Jordanian Special Forces. Abdullah is also certified as a Cobra Attack Helicopter Pilot. In 1980, he joined the UK’s Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the British Army.

Happy Hunting…GET SOME.

Cough, for reference.

He does not look like an Abdullah…he looks gringo.

It figures Obama would ride a hybrid bike and do so in jeans! Pussy! LOL

Bully for the King of Jordan…he seems like one hell of a leader.

A little research turns up all kind of good information about the King.

His mother was a Brit, she met King Hussein on the film set of “Lawrence of Arabia”. She’s caucasian, so King Abdullah is half white.
He was educated in the US as well as the UK.
Received military training in the UK and was commissioned into the BRITISH army as a 2nd. LT.
Qualified as a parachutist, but had to give up jumping out of airplanes when he became King, there’s this thing about not wanting a King to be killed in a parachute accident.
Trained as a helicopter pilot (Cobra). His father, the late King Hussein was also a pilot.
Commanded the Jordanian Special Forces.

Take it with a grain of salt the claims of third world leaders to have all kind of titles and rank in the military. The little fat north Korean guy, his father all wore uniforms and posed in front of military equipment, the late King Sihanouk of Cambodia had a million of claims, etc. But this King appears to be the real deal.

I wish him and his military good hunting.

If I was walking beside her I think I would have the same look on my face.

Sounds like an all around badass. Putting obummer to shame. Tsk tsk…

Damn it, no more photos of POTUS on a bicycle compared to the King of Jordan in his “GET SOME” flight suit! IT’S TOO DAMN EMBARRASSING! :nono:
