Kid takes Dress Up too far, could get Club Fed

1st of all I don’t believe anything that comes from the mass media period. The war, the coverups, the BS, I don’t buy any of it. You have completely misunderstood where I am going with this.

You overlooked the most important part of my message. “Motorcade Plans” You should not have that kind of weaponery and have interest in the president’s motorcade functions. This is very alarming and ANYONE that has this kind of shtuff should be percieved as a threat to our country. And the guide he had was specificaly made to optimize chances of hitting a ‘Human’ target.

I don’t know about you guys but I don’t have too much literature sitting around my house showing me how to kill people and how to make bombs. I must be unique in the fact I enjoy hunting with my M4

Green Eyes Black Rifles? WTFO? I read Kyle Lamb and I’m a threat to society? On this board, you’re probably the only one without such literature.

Seriously, this is why we have a first amendment. There is a difference between having the information and having an intent to use the information illegally. I used to have a copy of the Anarchist cookbook years ago, but that doesn’t mean I wanted to waste anyone and I don’t recall making any bombs more powerful than an M-80 (who hasn’t done this in their youth?).

Moreover, what’s the functional difference between learning how to kill animals and people with a rifle? You put a round through the heart and they’re dead. Same techniques apply.

200m? 2 days at a carbine class will easily allow you to do that. Don’t make me laugh.

Lighten up Francis…and wait to see what comes out in court.

you make me laugh… too much fluoride I guess

not sure where the green eyes comes into play

That response was so clever you outwitted yourself.

You said you don’t have literature that teaches you how to kill people…guess what the point of GEBR is…it isn’t hunting.

If that’s your qualification for guilt, than you don’t know much about American democracy.

So what Division are you guys in?

Looks like a Mall Ninja’s guide to wishing he could use his rifle. I recommend real hands on training from a certified instructor. Like Vickers or Thunder Ranch…

weaksauce, not saying you can’t learn from a book like this, looks like great info. This book doesn’t specificaly describe how to kill a person, what organs to aim for at what ranges and such; I am assuming (from reading the content on that site)

and the point is, this kid is whacked. no matter how they spin it he beat up an old man. He is a criminal with alot of equipment, it’s great you would back this kind of behavior up

Yet another evaded answer… are you capable of giving a cogent, relevant answer?

I don’t dispute the person should be in jail for beating up an old man, but you said the presence of the literature qualifies for being removed form society.

Too broad a brush to paint with.

Moreover You just thoroughly discredited yourself. Kyle Lamb mall ninja…HAHAHAHA…best joke I’ve heard all day. I presume you’ve not heard of Viking Tactics. Check it out.

Come back when you actually know something. You’re only embarrassing yourself.

Rally,

Don’t get butt-hurt. Just defend your position in logical terms or back off of it. No need for name-calling and such, friend!

As for GEBR, all he is saying is that is the kind of “material” they put on the news to “prove” you are evil. Even though it has nothing what so ever to do with violating NFA laws, or whatever he is actually accused of doing.

M_P

Read the book and then comment.

You’re chock full of uninformed opinions.

The book gives ballistic tables which are far more relevant to putting a bullet where you want it.

If you don’t know what organs you want to aim for, than you’re way behind the curve. I don’t think you need a book to know you want to put a bullet in the vitals: Heart, lungs and brain are preferred. A 10 yo has a basic understanding of anatomy.

He assaulted an old guy, yup, And if convicted of felony assault should never own a gun again in his life. That is the end of his actual crimes.

The rest is all BS, unless they can find him, writing, saying, etc that he wants to kill the POTUS and his motorcade. In that case they should be able to get him for a few other things. Worrisome, yup, get the boy a psych eval oh hell ya, but not illegal.

Your fixation with the book on how to shoot to kill at 200m is befuddling. Look at the ACOG’s reticle it is designed to be used for rangefinding, using a human torso as its measuring point. So if someone owns an ACOG they are a threat and someone you are frightened of, as they spent $750-$1,500 to get a scope designed to kill people beyond 200M.

Wtf? Are you crazy? You are making false statements. I never said that the presence of literature qualifies for being removed from society ALONE. But when combined w/ the presidential motorcade plans and a list of teachers names I think it is clear we have a psycho here. Why are you defending this kid is the real question.

Don’t try and twist what I have said either. The creator of the book is obviously a profesional tactical operator. My point: Reading it will not replace training.

Mall Ninja’s tend to worship literature like this

Never called any1 a name… Mall Ninja? hmm, read the whole thread 1st. I’m on the defensive…

Edit: its hilarious how you guys think I don’t understand the concept of a BDC. Or bullet placement. It sounds like the literature he had was equivelent to your green eyes book. Does that make his literature any less significant? If you had your green eyes book, motorcade plans, a list of teachers to kill and such I would want you in jail also.

sorry to say. but you are missing the point entirely and reiterating on subjects that are plainly obvious

Really? Which false statement would that be?

Perhaps you should re-read what you wrote because you made a hyperbolic statement which more than just me called you on.

The doc they found about killing a person at 200yds is a little disturbing too since it seemed he wanted more details than he could find elsewhere about the process.

This kid obviously has no intentions to use his weapons for anything else other than to harm other human beings and that one reason should disqualify him from life in society.

I suggest you go over the forum rules as the only mall ninja I see here is you.

Seriously man, when you find yourself in a hole…STOP DIGGING.

Honestly this thread has run its course. Nothing more to be gained.

I see no hole other than the ones in your story. You have made no sense in your arguements. Re-read the complete thread, and apoligize by email if that is easier for you…

The above statements just reiterate what I have already said. I did not say to single people out of society because they own a gun and a book. You obviously use the forums to make up for other areas in life that you are failing in…seems obvious to me anyway

No need.

Nice try, but yet another evasion.

Are you capable of arguing a cogent point?

You forgot about the possible NFA violations, possible MD state law violations, and if he actually made any explosives and/or explosive devices, those charges as well (state and/or federal).

It’s way too early to say whether the assault is the end of it.

I agree completely. The kid is a criminal, no doubt.

Is he a Timothy McVeigh wannabe? Maybe…maybe not.

More information is required.

okay then. The truth comes out…

that is all I have been saying. If what they say is true the kid is a McVeigh in the making. I understand media hype but you can’t really hype up the fact he had presidential motorcade plans and a list of teachers to kill. He is more like a Kip Kinkle with bigger plans IMO. Bottom line is that this kid is a criminal and should not have any guns, ever. And neither should anyone else that has the same shtuff in their house hold

-i can see your hole…its gettin bigger

Forgot about the NFA violations.
If he is convicted he needs to never touch a gun again, but until we have the info. We are just bored folks messing with each others’ heads and digging up minutia with one another to have an argument on the Internet.

I will reenter this fray against my better judgment.

The media is notorious for trying to “fill in the blanks” in news stories, and we all know the Feds don’t say much in cases like this. Frankly, I am concerned about anyone that has done this much preparation in assaulting anyone, let alone the president (or a member of his staff, or a foreign dignitary, etc). The reason I pointed out the assault on the elderly man is it shows a pattern in the suspect’s conduct.

GEBR was written by SGM Kyle Lamb, ret. (Army Special Forces, I believe). Having served in the Army, I can assure you I would never have the guts to call a Sergeant Major a “mall ninja” to his face.

Talk about a load of hypocritical bullcrap from someone who was whining about getting a ticket for breaking, by his own admission, three hunting laws. You’re quick to judge someone based on what the press releases, yet you cry a river about getting a fine when you could have been cited for much worse!!

I have a whole bunch of books that tell me how to kill someone from 0 to over 1,000-yards PLUS the means and the training to do it; does that mean that I have the intention of doing so? Intent has nothing to do with what you know or what’s in your possession. Intentions are based on your actions. If you deliberately cross into someone else’s property without the owner’s permission while carrying a rifle, then your intentions are clear.

I am not by any means defending what this moron did - he too broke a whole bunch of laws. But for anyone to be able to matter-of-factly say that he “intended” to do some act of violence based on what they’ve heard or seen on the news is just idiotic.

As far as I can tell this idiot probably broke various NFA laws (if those were SBR uppers), theft (PD letterhead), and possibly felony fraud (if he did use the stolen letterhead to obtain items and/or information). I hope that they throw the book at him if they can prove that he did do this.

Now if they can prove that he has been planning on taking a shot at the President’s motorcade; then there’s your intent. But unless you are someone in the know or is clairvoyant, you might want to express your opinions as just that, and not facts. JM2CW.
