I have searched until my head hurts! I want a keymod attachment that will accept an HK hook. While I am at it give me a taller plastic 2" rail section. Tall enough to mount a WML at the 9:30 position. GH

Hmm. Nope don’t think they’ve made one of them yet! Maybe a manufacturer might read this thread…

Find an HK loop that’ll fit on the top pic rail such as the Damage Industries model. About as good as you’ll get. No Keymod yet. Magpul’s RSA I am sure would work fine as well on the top rail.

More handstop options. More panel options. Smooth , rough, etc.

Picatinny rail has been out for a long time. Keymod only a couple of years. I remember being in the initial band of guys getting NSRs 2 years ago. Give it time. Keymod is not a passing fad. The industry has realized this and will catch up.

If I had a CNC machine I would like to try making Keymod items. I have some good ideas.

Keymod 1" flashlight holder that fits on the KMR at 10:30.
Keymod panels made from thin G10 that attaches using the actual keymod device so they can be made tight. (Maybe someone already makes something like these?)

Thanks Jax but keymod for me means eliminating as much hardware as possible while reducing weight. A simple 2 hole attachment with a small lanyard loop is what I want. I am working on an ultralight sling that would attach to the loop but not with an HK hook. Sort of a variation of the Proctor sling. GH

This is sort of cheating, but the Noveske Troy bipod mount fits directly into a keymod slot and I believe it was designed to do so. It’s not a keymod attachment method, but it’s as streamlined as you can get. I can post a picture later if you need it.

I ordered an IWC harris style bipod keymod adapter. (What a mouthful) basically a swivel stud.

This. But last I heard they were developing something entirely different, including a rail platform.

G10 panels. I totally have no idea why there aren’t already several options for these.

I purchased parts, will see if I can manage my own.
