The media is building a narrative that these guys’ poll numbers are dropping because of their votes, and Bloomberg is running ads.
They’re trying to do to the pro-gun movement what we did to them after the 94 AWB vote: Create a congressional sweep that makes gun rights untouchable, but they want to make pro-gun positions untouchable.We can’t allow this to happen.
Do everything you can to get this list of names and numbers visible, and call them frequently.
They’re hearing dissent on a national level right now, so they need to hear support on a national level. Five of the six offices didn’t ask me if I was a constituent when I just called; but if they do and you aren’t a constituent, just say, “No. Please tell the senator he/she has supporters all over the country now because of his/her vote.”
