Cops show up over a fire in a house and decide to assault and arrest the home owner and his son for trying to extinguish it then cook up a bullshit story which the media dutifully regurgitates.
Case goes before a grand jury hoping to indict the homeowner, but the grand jury indicts the cop instead.
I was putting out a deck fire one time as the FD got there the Police pulled up. I was in my backyard with a revolver tucked into my waist.
I had to stop trying to put out the fire in order to show the Cop my gun and my CC.
Even the Firemen I was working with called him a Dick, outloud and with him standing there.
I did not know him that I remember. This is a guy I used to work with. I am currently on a joining county’s grand jury. I will ask questions.
Good on the Grand Jury. It’s a shame the powers that be will find a way to get the cop off the hook. It’d be nice to see justice served for once. Oh well. I guess we can always hope that the Sergeant gets his own ass whooping at some point.
