Perfection! And it is what I am going to do with one original IZHEVSK AKM available here in Europe.
Yes I know most of you would not do that on an original but they are not so difficult to find here. Just a matter of time and “papers”.
It is more difficult to find the complete AK74S stock set! And I am still searching one!
Is any one can give me some informations about the modified Vickers sling used on that rifle (not talking about the front attachement) that will be welcome!
I did not find any sling with these “metallic hardware” on the Blue Force Gear site.

Cut off a standard AK sling end (clip part) and then just unlace the end of the Vickers sling and relace it with the AK clip.
Easy peasy.

I could not see the rear portion of the sling but the 74 stocks have a rotating sling mount on the right side. When folded it is then on the left side so you can still use the sling. I would bet that the Vickers sling is attached to that with no additional hardware. Someone else pointed out the front end modifications. I’ve done this with one of my slings and I highly recommend it.

Looks pretty similar to mine built by Troy on an NDS receiver and a Romanian G AKM kit. Probably the favoriate AK in my small pile.

As said these are for me the “AK perfection”. Full size AKM 7,62X39 rifle with a good and beautifull AK74S stock.
A real practical rifle.
I am also thinking to fit an AK74S optic side rail to be able to place a Cobra sight on. What do you think about that?

After the milled Type III it is my hands down my favorite AK configeration. It is also a very functional set-up. Very compact when the stock is folded, shorter than an AKS-74 becuase of the AK slant break, yet very comfortable to shoot compared to an under-folder.
Once i finish my milled underfolder, i will have to get a sidefolder AKM or Krink, love the PKMKS, great kits

Yes they did. It was a fine gun. Not quite the level of detail you’ll see on one of Troy’s guns, but it’s a nice build. The Romanian G kits are not nearly the level of quality you see on the Polish guns, but it makes a functional weapon:
