just got some new rails from VA gun show. the seller told me they were new but he didn’t really take care of them when he goes from show to show. he was selling them for $100, hard to pass up the offer. the issue that I have are the top rail is locking up real good and tight but the bottom rail moves from side to side when attached to my upper. they are attached to a LMT upper. has anybody had this issue before? and would the UK SAS bottom rail fix this? thanks for the help
They can/will have some play on the lower rail and yes the UK lower will fit tight like the upper.
Movement is normal with the KAC lower rail. It doesn’t negatively affect performance but some find it distracting. I have the SAS rail and its rock solid as the top rails since it has the same locking tongue. Its pricey however. I scored a good deal on it, otherwise I would have skipped it.
same setup as you bottom loose top solid but no issues.
