KAC BUIS for AR

I was wondering about the Knight’s Armament BUIS,

I realize this question is kind of cosmetic but what front sight are you supposed to use on a free floated rail (ie Vltor VIS)? Is it the KAC RAS?

Also, any preference between the 300m micro and the 200-600m micro? And why?

I prefer fully adjustable rear sights even if I’ll never shoot at 600m

Having had both (full size models) I like the 300 better as I prefer the ability to switch between the small and large peeps.

You are “supposed” to use the BUIS system that “you” like the best. Don’t get wrapped up in cosmetics, get dialed into function and quality.

I like both the Troy and KAC BUIS. I prefer the 200-600 KAC if running a scope and the Troy for a RDS rig. I don’t have any experience with the micro, but I am sure others will chime in shortly. YMMV…
