It has been a while since I had a good fixed blade and a friend was able to get a good deal on some Ka-Bars so I decided it was time for a new field knife. Decided on the short tanto because its small enough to not be cumbersome but still big enough to get some work done with a 5 1/4" 1095 blade, and I have always liked the tanto design. Its weighted well, easy to grip and very sharp right out of the box.
