K9 Preparedness Guide, FAQ & Link Thread

This is my boy. 8 weeks Great Pyrenees. The only way he can hide is in a marshmallow factory, a pillow factory, or in a flock of sheep. We have sit and stay down for the most part. The leash is tough at the moment, but my wife is a nurse and has done his vaccinations to date.I’m 5’10 for size comparison.

Im concerned about this guy not having air conditioning lol. He sleeps more than half the day on air vents. Gotta love Birmingham, AL

^ Awesome dogs! I’m rural and have frequent contact with the Pyr. Anyone, but an idiot, would not for ONE instant entertain the idea of invading a Pyr’s turf! I’m continually amazed how they handle all weather - 100 degree to freezing - just like the livestock they protect. Good luck and post more pix as he grows.
