Wanted to share a couple pics. Always had handguns but never had a rifle till now. It’s my bday present to myself. Thanks to Grant at G&R Tactical. Great price and service!

You did it right the first time!
That’s odd. My DD M4 is marked Savannah, GA and this one is marked Black Creek, GA. I must have a rare model. Seriously though, did they move facilities?
Very nice.
yes, yes they did, and pretty recently. like within the last 4 months, IIRC
Is mine from Savannah more valuable now?![]()
So, which is most current? I just got a DDM4 and it has Savannah on it. All correspondence shown has Savannah on it. I know Black Creek is a creek close to Savannah.
they moved to black creek from savannah. they probably still maintain offices at the savannah location, or the letterhead was really expensive or something…
I had to go dig mine out. I must be a collector as I have one of each!
I believe you’ll be happy. You took the advice of the boards and will only “buy once, cry once”, until you decide to buy another. I’m not knocking any quality M-4 type carbine but prefer the DD to most of the others out there. I think you’ll also think that after training with it for awhile. Good luck.
Thanks everyone. The only reason I even ended up getting the DD was because of this site. I walked into a gunshop with no research. They had a Dpms, Bushmaster and a Stag they wanted to sell me for $1000 each. I asked the guy which one he thought was better and he said they’re all the same. If he had picked one and said it was better, I would’ve trusted him and bought that one. But because he didn’t know, I figured I’d hold off and search the internet to see which one of the three was better. Of course I come across this site in a search and with all the reading here ended up with the DD XV +shipping and ffl fee, still $25 less than buying either the Dpms, Bushmaster or Stag locally +tax.
Wow! Good deal, and for a first AR, you couldn’t have picked a better rifle for the $$. If those were out when I bought my 6920, I probably would have bought one instead since it has the fixed BUIS instead of the removable carry handle.
Enjoy!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Another M4C success story. I wish that everyone would spend a little time researching their purchases and comparing.
Unfortunately they don’t always end up like this. It is nice to see a happy ending every now and then.
To the OP, nice choice! Glad to see some people do it right the first time! ![]()
I actually researched and found several other sites which convinced me to get a RRA (which I have since “fixed” based on reading this forum). At least I got the chrome lined barrel part right on that purchase. And it is not like I have not been around guns and hunting since I was 4. This is just different than what I grew up with.
At least my second and third have been from DD. And I have bought smart on accessories such as slings based on this sight.
I wish I had been this smart when I joined. It would have saved me a few hundred bucks.
Good choice and welcome to the site!
Glad you like it and thank you for your business!
On a side note, I zero’d a DD M4 with an Aimpoint M4S there day. I was getting 5 shot groups measuring .40! The kicker is that I was using UMC 55gr ammo!

Congrats and another welcome to the site. Go out and have a blast shooting that thing. I got a DDM4 from Grant as well and couldn’t be happier.
Oh and mine says Savannah as well. Dang now I’m going to have to buy another one because Black Creek just sounds tougher ![]()
very nice…it will serve you well.
Excellent choice and welcome.
I did my first research on TOS several years ago and ended up with an Armalite and RRA. Since I found M4C and Rob’s chart I sold the RRA and bought an LMT. Better late than never.
