Okay so my barrel arrived today
CMMG 5.56 MPC 1x7 twist…
I look down the barrel in the light and see material hanging where the gas port was drilled…Is this normal to have material in there? I shot some oil down the barrel to see if it was loose but it definitely seems connected to the barrel still…is this normal?
bore brush it. see what happens
ya. this is my first build and don’t have the cleaning parts for the gun yet, so today maybe I’ll make a trip and buy it.
From what I’ve read here at M4C, most new barrels have burrs hanging from the gas ports. Also just from what I’ve read, people recommend just shooting it and it will take care of itself.
