Just began to dabble in the pistol world

And I have a few questions. If there is a faq list I would love a link. I don’t live in an NFA friendly part of town so I’m gonna build a pistol until I do :smiley:

  1. I know no vfg can be attached, have we heard about the afg (probably not) ?

  2. how about the gear sector or kac handstops?

I believe ATF classifies a PISTOL cannot have any type of “grip” perpendicular to the bore…Magpul AFG included. Not sure about hand stops, however I don’t ever recall seeing one installed on an AR pistol. Just get the handguard you can find that you like. My 7.62x39 AR pistol will have a MI or Troy TRX 9" rail. Not sure which one yet. And a 10-something inch barrel :slight_smile:
