California judge says serial rapist to be released
The so-called “Pillowcase Rapist” who attacked at least 40 women in the 1970s and 1980s will be freed and allowed to live in a remote Southern California desert area despite a host of vocal protests, a judge ordered Friday.
He was paroled in 1990, but arrested in a new attack just two months later and returned to prison until 1996.
Wow, 22 yrs for 41 rapes over 11 years equals about six months per rape. California sure values women. Not. I bet other rapists are shaking in their boots at the thought of maybe spending 6 months per rape, if they are caught, if they are convicted.
This is the real war on women, but you will never hear a peep out of the media about this.
How do liberal women live with the fact that they don’t want to incarcerate anyone with mandatory minimum sentences yet know it results in men like this being out on the streets?
Judges who release violent offenders should be forced to house them for a six month “evaluation” period. I think this would solve a lot of this sort of problem.
