About the Classes:
The Pistol & Carbine Marksmanship courses are designed to teach you to take the
SHOT and do it in as little time as possible. Being accurate is final but being accurate in
seconds or less is better. This course starts with the fundamentals pistol and carbine
marksmanship, and progresses to our “Beyond Training Video Diagnostics” to develop
the operator’s weapon handling skills, operational effectiveness and overall shooting
performance. The Sheriff of Baghdad’s Beyond Training Video Diagnostics is a modern
play by play technology John uses to capture your grip and stance to enhance your
learning experience. It is by the greatest achievement in firearm instruction to date.
The “Mesa progression” methodology emphasizes safety efficiency and the
development of the skills relevant to today’s battlefields and operational areas. This
training teaches the weapons handling skills needed in a tactical environment while
emphasizing safety, awareness and surgical marksmanship. Operators will quickly
gain experience, confidence and competence required to operate effectively as an
individual and member of a team with their assigned weapons. We provide principal
based training, trains Operators not what to think but how to think.
