Former first lady Jill Biden said she thought her husband was “having a stroke” during then-President Joe Biden’s disastrous performance in the 2024 debate that preceded his departure from the race.
“I was frightened, because I had never ever seen Joe like that before or since. Never,” she said in an interview for CBS News "Sunday.
“I don’t know what happened. As I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh, my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death,” the former first lady said in a clip from an upcoming interview with Rita Braver of “CBS News Sunday Morning,” released by the network Wednesday.
During the nearly two-hour debate, the then 81-year-old repeatedly trailed off, failed to call out Trump’s lies and occasionally gave nonsensical answers to moderator’s questions. His advisers blamed the lackluster occurance on a cold.
Asked how worried she was as she watched the debate unfold, the former first lady said she was “frightened” by the president’s performance and even wondered if he was suffering a stroke on national television.
But Did Anyone Call a Doctor?
No you didn’t because Joe was running and it didn’t matter if you had to whip his Corpse accross the Finish Line, Jill Biden wanted to be President.

Biden seemed exactly the same as any other public appearance he made in he prior 5 years leading up to the debate. Jill is full of shit on the stroke thing.
She just wanted to retain power and keep the money spigot turned on.
Plus judging by my own father’s declining health leading to his death, my mom was genuinely surprised when he passed. I only got to see them one or twice a year since about 2007 and he died in late 2020. So I got snap shots of my dad over time, and the last 5 years I expected him to die at any time. Pretty much every time their number popped up on caller ID I figured there was a good chance bad news was about to be passed on. Then one day it came to pass, and I had made peace with it years prior. Maybe Jill Biden just thinks Joe is normal because the decline is incremental day by day.
I have to question her sincerity as as She describes it, they left the debate and attended two more engagements that night and he gave a speech the next day.
You know what he didn’t do? He didn’t have time to get checked out medically and get any kind of GO/NO GO Gauge on his ability to continue to run.for POTUS.
So She like many other Women, Jill was watching Her Husband work himself literally to Death and Never Said a Word.

According the Biden’s press secretary the endless videos of Biden being confused, wandering around lost, freezing, stumbling, falling… were all “cheap fakes”. The youngsters on the campaign couldn’t keep up with Biden’s energy and keen wit.
When the inevitable finally happens, I hope it happens on a very steep and treachorous set of steps that seem endless and when his brain finally pops like a cheap balloon I hope he embraces Jill Biden in a deep and everlasting Bear hug right before the tip over and tumble down the steps.together.

I don’t even know if I harbor that much ill will towards Joe Biden. I’m convinced he didn’t even know where or who he was for those four years, and was just being used and marionetted around by the true demons of the Democrat party.

I would say if it took that Old Man 100 more years to die and he would stumble and fall and not know WTF is going on all day and be frightened and confused. If he outlived Jill and spent his remaining days in total frightening chaos, I would ssay he earned it.
