[/b][COLOR=“Red”]3-Day LE Night Fighter[/COLOR]
This course of instruction is intended to provide tactical Law Enforcement Officers with the tactical aspects and operational employment of Weapon Mounted Flashlights, Laser Aiming Modules and Night Vision Devices within a darkened environment/stronghold.
The classroom presentations will include equipment peculiar to night fighting, anatomy and physiology of the eye and night vision, techniques on searching, controlling, positive target identification and navigation of low light and darkened strongholds. The use of Night Fighting Equipment (NFE) in Close Quarters Battle and Urban Terrain.
The practical lessons will consist of advanced shooting techniques at close quarters and medium range, both day and night. The practical use of NFE during daylight assaults, in low light and blacked out strongholds.
Zeroing of the in-service laser will be conducted followed by an elementary shoot at medium and close quarter ranges including CQB. Students will participate in other training evolutions designed to evaluate and develop situation awareness, enhance lethality, improve night fighting capability and increase individual ability to operate and fight at night in a variety of environments.

Demonstrate Proficiency and Engage Targets with In-service Rifle and Pistol During Low Light and No Light Shooting Evolutions with NFE

Conduct CQB Shooting Day and Night with NFE

Conduct Urban-shooting Techniques Day and Night with NFE

Introduction to Reducing Large Strongholds and Employing Silent Stronghold Clearance Techniques with NFE

Body Armor, Ballistic Helmet, NVG’s with Mount, Eye and Ear Protection, Laser Aiming Module, Spare Batteries, Carbine, Pistol, 3x Magazines (Min) and Combat Uniform
