ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (July 7, 2015) – Federal authorities raided the home of Subway spokesman Jared Fogle Tuesday morning. FBI sources told FOX59 state and federal investigators were serving warrants at Fogle’s Zionsville home in connection with a child pornography investigation.
The raid started around 6 a.m. Tuesday. An evidence truck could be seen parked in the driveway. Investigators from the FBI and Indiana State Police were at the scene.
Heavy.com says he used to run a porn rental business out of his dorm room at college. Who knew?

It appears this was just SOP because old boy that got arrested who worked for Jared a few months ago dimed him out.
I will have to wait and see.
If you are having regular e mail exchanges with someone who has kid Porn on their hard drive, chances are someone is going to want to talk to you. If its a disgruntled former employee your hard drive will be looked at if he has a grudge.

I dont work for the FBI but to me it seems that if they were just wanting the computers to gather evidence against the guy they could have just gotten a warrant for the computers. Would have been fast and easy. But the fact that they showed up unannounced and had a warrant for the whole house it makes me think there is something more to this.
When was the last time anybody read in news articles that the feds didn’t go overboard in handling search warrants, big or small. It is easier to justify your already over inflated budget.

Fogle’s lawyer, Ron Elberger, told FOX59 Fogle was not aware of the FBI search warrant prior to the raid at the Zionsville house Fogle shares with his wife and two children. Fogle’s children were in the house when investigators arrived, but they were quickly moved to another location as investigators began searching the property.
Elberger released the following comment:
Jared has been cooperating with law enforcement and its investigation of certain unspecified activities and looks forward to its conclusion.
Jared has not been arrested, detained or charged with anything.
Fogle has not been arrested or charged with any crime as of late Tuesday afternoon. Some neighbors, and even Subway corporate officials, speculate that the investigation is tied to the April arrest of the former director of the Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor.
I’m thinking if they had anything they would have found it by now.

The svelte fast food spokesman is expected to plead guilty to child pornography charges five weeks after federal investigators raided his Indiana home, an Indianapolis television station reported.
The U.S. attorney in Indianapolis was due to reveal the details at a Wednesday news conference, according to Fox59 News.
The station reported that Fogle, in a plea bargain deal, will admit to possession of child pornography.

“Middle school girls are hot,” suspended fast-food pitchman Jared Fogle reportedly told the stunned reporter on several ossasions in the past 10 years.
“He said something to me when we were off camera and that really stuck with me,” she told WWSB-TV in Sarasota. “I thought to myself, ‘Did he really say that to me?’”
The woman, whose identity was withheld, said she was so disturbed by the fast food spokesman’s comment that she reached out to the FBI.
“They weren’t jokes,” she told the station. “They were very serious … It goes deeper than that.”
She claimed the middle school remark was followed by even more disgusting comments, but refused to go into specifics.

Authorities reportedly discovered 400 vile videos, some with children as young as 9, in the jailed suspect’s possession.

Under the deal, Fogle would serve between five and 12 years in prison, pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 minor victims, register as a sex offender and meet other conditions.
According to the indictment, the head of the Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor, secretly taped 12 minors while they were changing clothes, showering and bathing at his home, including two who were as young as 13 or 14 years old. He shared the images with Fogle, who knew they showed minors, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said Fogle also received commercial child pornography from Taylor and viewed it and failed to report it.
Fogle traveled to New York City at least twice between 2010 and 2013 seeking sex with minors, and paid for sex acts twice with a girl he knew to be 17 years old. He told the girl he would “make it worth her while” if she could find him another minor to have sex with, “the younger the girl, the better,” according to the indictment.
Prosecutors said he repeatedly asked prostitutes and others to find him 14- and 15-year-olds for sex.
