J-Frame holster from Harry's holsters

Hey guys,

Harry’s sent me one of their J-frame holsters. It is an IWB with a metal clip. I believe they refer to it as their “icon” model. It is made of good quality plastic with a metal clip. It is formed perfectly so it basically adds no thickness whatsoever. I am a BIG fan of the metal clip because, unlike other designs it holds on to your belt snugly and is as low profile as you can get. Most kydex holsters have a large, easily spotted plastic clip, so this is a big improvement. There is one drawback, it works too well. You need to use two hands to remove the holster because the clip works very well, and keeps the holster on your belt.

It’s a low profile design, but it holds the grip high enough so you can get a good grip on the draw. It also is properly contoured to clear your Crimson Trace laser grips if you do the right thing and have them.

I’ve been running mine a few months and it has be carrying IWB quite a bit, rather than my usual J-frame pocket carry.

I’ll keep you posted but I think Harry’s has done their homework on this one.

I like it. Appears well thought out.

I dig it, I need one. Ambi to boot.

Nice! What’s the price point?

Looks like $59.99

If you stick to black hit the quick ship $49.99

Thanks.

Took it out again today for some range time. Just an excellent little holster. One obvious advantage of this method over pocket carry is you can carry your speed loaders strong side pocket without dealing with your pocket holster.

If I am not mistaken greg its looks as though your holster has some adjustability “cant wise” or did you have to drill another hole? Sorry I see it now!

I was sold on just continuing to use my old Galco paddle for convenience but I have to say this looks like a viable replacement. How is the comfort level?

Very high. It adds very little to the gun
