What seems to be the problem with 40sw?
Usually it’s answers like, “I own 9mm and 45”, “9mm is cheaper”, “45 is bigger”, etc.
Is there something else more important as to why some people don’t like 40sw?

The caliber is widely used in LE agencies here in the US. Outside the US not so much.
If it works for you then keep going with it.
