I just ordered a complete RRA Upper reciever assembly for my pistol build. I got sick of trying to peice one together using the finest components, and settled for what I could afford. I got the 10.5" A4. Chose next day air, so it will probably be here the day after tomorrow. I’m gonna’ make it the ultimate “Bubba Gun” Just so I can post some fun pic’s. Then I’ll get rid of all the crap and pay the fee to SBR it.
Well, so much for that idea, RRA just called and told me they are on Back order. Guess I’ll piece by piece it.
I hate myself. I have all sorts of bills to pay but I went ahaed and found an upper group from class3weapons.com.

I too find quite a bit of hilarity in this whole pistol thing. I’m gonna’ use my Beta-C mag with it and eventually put one of Spikes Tactical 37mm “Shorty” flare launchers on it. When I get done it will be heavier than my rifle.

First pics will be up this afternoon, as that is what time the “Brown Clown” usually arrives at my house. I got second day shipping on my upper and it was 89.00, So, I thought I’de snatch this RRA up for 510.00, but now I’m kinda’ pissed that I ended up really paying 600.00 for it. I just got sick of trying to peice the upper together, as one month I’de find barrels in stock, and then by the time I got paid, they’de be out. I’m one of those “I want it now” kinda’ guys and I’ve been sitting on my completed lower for like seven months now. It will be about three months more before I can afford to buy any of the other ridiculuos things I want to hang on it. But maybe for starters I’ll take my Mueller 8.5x25 Tactical scope on it, since it has quick release rings on it. It sits on my 10-22 right now and that’s right back where it will go, after I snap a couple of funny photos. OK, I got it. don’t feel like cleaning my desk to take pics just yet. I was glad to see that upon removal of the handgaurds, that the Barrel is quite heavy. Also they were the double lined kind. In the first 56 rounds I had four failures to feed(Short-Stroking). Click no bang. I went inside and took my H-Buffer and spring out of my Bushy and popped it in. Went out with 2 more mags and it ran flawless. I’m gonna’ try to put another hundred rounds of Wolf 55gr. .223 through it and make sure it runs it well. I want to keep this gun on a cheap diet, as it is a blast to shoot, even though I don’t have any sights or an optic picked out yet. I bump-fired about twenty of those rounds so it did’nt really matter much.
UPDATE: I took my 1.5x4x of of a rifle and put it on the pistol. At 25yds. I was able to shoot 10rds. into a nice tight 2.5in. group. with Wolf 55gr. This rig definitly exhibits potential. Time to start filling out my paperwork for SBR. Unfortunately I won’t be able to afford to send it in for a few months unless I win some money.
