I think you have to look at the length of the contract and the number of people employed by DHS who carry firearms. If anyone can come up with the numbers, I would like to hear them.
That is a general statement without fact. What are the hard numbers? How many DHS agents and how many rounds? When I was on active duty I was restricted on ammunition during training, then given unlimited ammunition when deployed. The Federal Marshalls in my area are alloted 1000 rounds per year for qualifications and training. If other Federal agents are alloted the same amount of ammunition, they can burn a lot of rounds in a year. What are the hard numbers? Generalities won’t cut it.
“President Obama has been adamant about curbing law-abiding Americans’ access and opportunities to exercise their Second Amendment rights…One way the Obama administration is able to do this is by limiting what’s available in the market with federal agencies purchasing unnecessary stockpiles of ammunition,” the statement adds.
I knew the day GWB created this new bureaucracy, exactly what the Marxist political party would do with it once it came under their control, turn it upon their subjects.
For a website full of people who do or used to work carrying guns for the gubbament and always talk about their people could use more training, the rabble over this hurts my head.
“Boy, those -fill in- sure do suck, they need better training”
-agency here- buys ammo at record numbers.
“They’re preparing for Marshall Law to take my guns away! Where’d all the primers go? How fast does the sky fall?”
Oh you mean like Obama’s Civilian Expeditionary Force / National Security Force / whatever he calls it now layed out in his National Security Strategy . . . :help:
It takes 5 minutes of basic 5th grade research to see that this is nothing but exaggerated, hysterical nonsense, propagated by ratings whores who feed on attention.
How about the U.S. Marshall Service and the FBI? Multiply 500 rounds per employee per year and see what number you get. That is a generous estimate given that some agencies allot 1000 rounds per year for each sworn employee.
