Is this normal? Aimpoint T-1

Is the flat piece visible at the 4-5 o’clock position normal in an Aimpoint Micro?

For the life of me I cannot remember seeing it on any other T-1s when I have tried them.

My H-1 has that. That is where the LED is AFAIK.

That is the emitter housing, just like the slightly canted front lens, perfectly normal.
