A little pricey, but 1.) It has top quality parts, including BCG, barrel, and handguard, and 2.) that is the manufacturer’s suggested price, right from the factory. You might find it a hundred or more cheaper at a Daniel’s Defense vendor. After all, DD’s list for DDXV carbine is $1300 and you can usually find them for $1000-1100.

I cant put together a BCM upper with comparable parts for 850… Anyone else ?

Equivalent quality. Between DD and BCM, flip a coin. Actually, I looked again and that is $150 off DD’s MSRP. That’s also what BCM sells their DD uppers for, at least when they’re in stock. So I would have to say, it’s a decent price
