Tonight on Midway I ran across a “coming soon” item indicating that C Products is making stainless 17rd mags for the M&P 9 and 15rd for the .40…for $15.99. Checked their site, and it does mention in their store that the M&P mags are coming in March-April.
If those are well made mags and truly running for that price, that will be a nice boost for the M&P to have affordable, aftermarket mags starting to be available.
Provided of course that C Products actually make them reliably reliable…

I’ve never used C-Products, but based on the below post on the AR forums was considering picking up a few of the stainless mags as most posts indicated they are very good…take it you gents haven’t had the same experience?

I can get the factory 9mm magazines for $19.95. The extra coule of dollars are worth it to me for reliability.
Wow. Where can you get that price? If I could get $19.99 on factory mags, I’d be all over that too.
Same here. I wouldn’t take the chance on after market mags for a few bucks.
Botach…I know, I know, but after ordering several sets of mags from them there have been no problems.
Its been my experience through the years that its usually best to stick with the OEM mags for most firearms when your life is on the line.
Just FYI I bought six stainless C-products last year and none of them would go into the magwell on my LMT without a fight. Haven’t had a problem with any other mags. It’s a small sample, but you may want to try one with your gun before buying more.
Bought three for my SA 1911 loaded, they would not lock the slide back, my SA fac. mags are better.

Exacactly. Their OEM Mags are as inexpensive as can be found.
Definate PASS on any CProd mags. They suck scrotem sac big time.

Maybe Mec-Gar will step up to the plate… I have mags from them for my SIGs and they’ve been utterly reliable.
