Family came to America from County Galway in 1704. Beat the potato famine by 150 years! 
Family came over from Kilkenney, then boarded another boat to put those “Succession Bastards” in their graves. From there worked on railroad and came to west coast. I am as Irish as they come, save being born there. All my cross contamination happened in the Emerald Isle years before.

In any event its enough of an excuse to go drink with (out-drink) all my Irish friends today. BTW, Guinness is the finest beer in the world IMHO and accounts for 85% of the beer I drink.
