Anyone have any experience with it? I know it is issued to the Germans and the Brits. I may have a chance to pick one up over here, but want to know if it is good to go. I am currently stuck with a PEQ 2A.
Is the torch bright enough?
What I like about it is that it can also be mounted on a pistol.
I tried one out last year, and they’re pretty dang nice. A little hard to zero from what I experienced, but they’re really nice given the size.
It does seem compact. But maybe a bit too high to mount on a top rail? Seems to be designed to hang from the bottom or maybe the side.
It should work ok on the bottom rail if it is on a full float rail. If it isn’t a full float rail you will get a shift in the point of aim as the laser and rail move around.

It usually hangs from the side of the HK grenade launcher on SA80 configurations for the british. But it should work just fine on the side or bottom of a rail.
They’re crap. Aviod.
Weak light, battery vaccume.
Vis laser is virtually useless past 5 meters in anything but complete darkness.
The IR laser is ok, but is not coaxially aligned with the vis, so it is much more of a pain to zero then an ATIPAL.
The mount is crap and prone to breaking/bending.
The package is bulky and weird, and prone to light ADs due to the side buttons. The wire for the pressure pad is ok, but limits mounting options.
