does anyone have any experience with a peq-15A or comparable device with the ir pointer set at the lowest power burning the nv tube? how would some one use the ir pointer feature to avoid this consequence. a friend of mine has a peq-2A and his tube has a blemish where the ir pointer at the lowest setting appears on the field of view of the 740 he is using. any thoughts or suggestions? hill 300
Unless he left the laser & NV optic on and in a static position for an extended period, this should not have happened. I have never had a problem with it.

The laser will create dark lines from the bloom of the laser, but it will go away from use.
