While searching for an optic to go on my AR, I came across IOR Valdada and I have to say I was super impressed with the specifications of their optics. But, while it looks good on paper, real world use is a whole different animal. I’m looking at their CQB scope. As I understand it IOR is the scope and Valada is the importer. I LOVED my IOR! I had the “tactical” 4-14x50 with the MP8 reticle. The reticle was super clean and the glass was top shelf for sure…
They use Schott glass, to my understanding. Same glass manufacturer for the Hubble telescope… I’m more worried about durability. This thing is gonna hang on my AR at home, but my next deployment, I might bring it with me…
I have several IOR Scopes and two pair of their binoculars. They are a little heavier than some and they are holding up well in the usage I give them. The glass is truly amazing and they are a bargain for what you pay. I have purchased the last two scopes from Liberty Optics and it has been a pleasure to deal with Scott.
