Hey all, long time lurker, first time post. Just wanted to introduce myself very quickly, my name’s Rob, I spent three and a half years in the US Army (11B, A Co 1-2 INF), and was stationed in Germany almost the entire time minus one 11 month deployment to Iraq. Anyways these are my babies.
SBR
TM15 lower
DPMS LPK (don’t hate, I’m working on fixing it)
Various Magpul loot
Troy MRF-MX
Troy BUIS
Noveske 12.5" bbl
Eotech 551
BCM Bolt
Surefire M600A Scout
Since taking this pic I’ve switched to a CTR to save on weight, and an RVG instead of the AFG (9.4 lbs w/ optic)
This gun has seen more changes than I care to share, so I’ll just showoff my two latest looks for it. Originally this gun started out as a plain jane HSA-15 with garbage-ass parts (due to my impatience when I was on R&R from Iraq) with nothing special about it. A year and a half of buying parts resulted in this:
Having done that I sort of regret buying the WOA, but since the only other spare barrel I have is the original 16" HSA barrel, I’m going to wait to make any changes until I can afford a BCM middy barrel.
Hey, from a fellow former 11B thanks for your service. Good looking rifles, I have got one of the Leupold Mark ARs like yours on one of my ARs it is a great scope for the price. On 1.5 power you can shoot it with both eyes open at close ranges and it holds a tight group at a 100.
No joke. I love my Mark AR. As much as I want a Nightforce, in my current job it’ll be a year before I’ll be able to afford one outright. I should have bought one when I had that awesome E4 pay (haha). MECHANIZED!
@ J Krammes: There’s nothing wrong with it at all, it’ll punch a 1.5" ragged hole at a hundred yards with M193, but I just wish I’d bought a 16" middy instead.
