intro/ black rifle builds

well after ruffling some feathers with my KAC comments figure i’ll throw up a post. I"m from san Diego, in the military, married with one daughter and another kid on the way. Finally got around to building my own black guns. jumped head first in with 4 lowers (two 5.56, and two 7.62).

building

5.56 carbine (10-12")- goin with centurion arms 12" barrel most likely
5.56 Mk12’ish setup- already got a noveske 18" SPR barrel
7.62 carbine (12-14")- still trying to source a good carbine DPMS barrel
7.62 Long gun- goin with GA precision 20" barrel and setup

anyways here are some parts i have gathered so far

what lower parts kit are you going to go with?

for which one, i’m probably goin to use wilson two stage match triggers for the long guns, either them or geisselle. the carbines, most likely wilson single stage drop ins. the other stuff, i got from JD machine tech.

picking up some daniel defense rails tomarrow for two of them the 5.56 carbine should be almost done, with a shooting report in a couple weeks.

Looks like some nice builds there. What are you going to do with those bad boys? How much were the 7.62 lowers?

7.62 lowers if i remember right were right around 360’ish, 270ish for the upper but don’t quote me on that.

I really enjoy distance shooting so the long guns will be for shooting at work, mabye some varmit shooting, prairie dogs who knows. the carbines- 5.56 will be for tactical work, schools, etc. 7.62 should be my new hog gun :smiley:

here it is people’s centurion arms 12.5" hammer forged barrel, shooting report coming up. its a little miscolored right now but who gives a sh$%. LMT sopmod stock goin on shortly.
