Interesting Mag Loader

If these work as shown, they are going to save a lot of time. At $30 it’s worth the gamble to find out.

Pretty slick…This is the first aftermarket loader I’ve ever considered purchasing.

I would be more interested to see how it performs with the last 5 rounds in a rifle mag, rather than the first five. I’ll keep it on my radar tho.

Agreed. It looks like it might be a winner. At $30 or less, it’s certainly worth the gamble.

Good point. I was at the handgun range earlier using my Uplula (or is it Maglula?) to load some Glock mags. Those last few rounds can be tough to get in with new mags. This isn’t much different than using stripper clips.

It appears to work better with pistol than rifle rounds and definitely worth playing with for thirty bucks.

I’ve had no issues with my MagLULA or StripLULA. I don’t think I’ve ever taken a 1911 magazine and felt like I needed a loader for it either where as on double stacks its nice when it gets down to the bottom rounds. Didn’t ETS have some questionable quality with their magazines at some point though?

I can see the novelty here, but does it really do anything better than the LULA loaders? Dude designed the thing and he couldn’t even get the rounds to strip out of the boxes like he wanted. If you have loose rifle rounds, not having to hold the loader onto the mag and just flipping a toggle on the MagLULA seems easier to me. To each their own, if you don’t already own any of the LULA’s and want something different, by all means, try it out. I don’t think I’ll be jumping ship for this thing though.

Wonder how long before the pick up rail goes out of tolerance and rounds go flying or won’t pick up?

I use the Uplula every time I go to the range. Great product. What makes this one different is that it loads directly from the box into a stripper clip like system - and theoretically 10 rounds at a time vs load one flip the lever. There are other mag loaders that can load fast but they’re bulky and the price starts at $100. This should be about $30 and is small enough to take pretty much anywhere.

One at a time vs stripper clip fast. Worth a try at $30 IMO.

Agreed. I love the Lula product lines. What makes this one different is that you can load the rounds directly from the box onto a built in stripper clip rather than loading them into the clip one at a time as you would do with the strip lula if your rounds weren’t already on stripper clips.

As far as the company, I’ve never owned any ETS mags. I heard the same things that you did about quality and it seems like they have improved. They’re probably okay for range use but no way would I want to take one into the field. Their loader seems innovative and if it works could be a real time saver at a good price.

Agreed. Could be that doing it on camera the guy was nervous or the holders were too deep. Who knows…

Magpul magazines are my favorite because they are very forgiving when dropped or banged around. They may have had some issues early on but Magpul worked hard to make sure these issues were addressed. One can only hope the same from ETS. Will they achieve the level of reliability that Magpul products have? I’m not holding my breath but time will tell. Is their loader innovative? IMO yes it is.

He mentioned something about the rounds being dummy and not set proper depth (I don’t think you are allowed to bring live ammo to the Shot Show)

Am I the only one that still loads all my mags by hand?
