Just got my soft loops from Raven and I’m trying to install them on my Raven phantom G19 holster. Seems the screws are too short. Anybody got pics of theirs ? thanks.
Can anybody familiar with Raven products help out with some advise?
I don’t know about the soft loops but with the over hooks, I just needed to depress the O-rings and the screws caught. Similar set up?
well the soft loop are made of rubber so once the screw is mounted it seems very flimsy plus the soft loop button get in the way of the mounting screw. Can’t seem to find any pics of it open.
VA_Dinger: thanks for moving my thread.
My experience with Raven has been very good. If there is a problem I m sure they will step up and take care of it
I put soft loops on my Raven ACR and I didn’t have any issues with the screw length.
The soft loops and attachment hardware are the same as the ones I have on my Blade-Tech IWB holster and the soft loops attach the same way on both holsters.
To me it sounds like you may not be pushing the screw hard enough through the soft loop material. I’ve got mine installed very tight and there is no movement of the soft loops once they are screwed down.
I recommend contacting Raven Concealment to verify you have the right soft loop hardware and that you’re installing it properly. I’m sure they’ll get the right sized screws to you.
Same here. Sometimes you have to use a bit of force to compress the rubber loop material enough to get the screw starting to thread into the nut.

Once you get it in there, it stays in place well, as the springy-ness of the rubber material works like a washer and holds the screw in place. A bit of lock-tite never hurt either.
the screws do seem short but they work.
great holster. ![]()
That’s correct, you have to push very hard. It’s not as easy to switch the holster from OWB to IWB, I usually break out in cold sweats and cuss a lot while changing those itty bitty screws.

thanks a lot guys. That’s exactly what I needed. what the best position to carry ? I tried 3 o’clock but my hip gets in the way and it’s not very comfy. I have a slim build.
I wear my slightly (not much) behind the hip, you have to move it around until you find the place for YOU.

Similar position to above. Still working on it.
