I was wondering if anyone else is running the Inforce WML with the Haley thorntail offset mount. My question is my set up for some reason wobbles back and forth slighty. Just wanted to check if any of you guys had the same issuse.
I’ve used the WML in an offset mount (Not the thorntail). Does the light move on the mount, or the mount on the rifle?
the light moves on the actual mount and mount is solid on the rail (no movement). when i had the light mounted on the rail it was solid.
The crossbar on the WML is undersized to the MIL-Spec slot on the THORNTAIL and any other MIL-Spec rail. We’ve mentioned it to INFORCE.
Oh ok thank you. I also noticed on Travis’s blog when he announced the mount his WML also slighty moved as well. I can’t complain its a solid well built mount.
Is there a reason for the crossbar being undersized on the thorntail or is this a design flaw?
Does anyone know if Inforce fixed the problem with the cross bar being undersized?
I’ve bought and installed two Thorntail mounts. They are rock solid. If it matters, they are mounted on two different tykes of Daniel Defense rails. Both have the Inforce WML attached.
