Anybody here have time on the Inforce handgun lights?
Nope… the switching mechanism looks cool, although it seems like it would be easy to accidentally activate. It’s also boxy and ugly as sin.
Well, it is a departure from the usual handgun WML profile, but I find it good looking in a Glockish sort of way. 
But I am looking into it more for its slimmer profile (single CR123 battery), and advertised 200 lumens for an hour or so from that one battery.
That is appealing. I much prefer single cell weapon lights to double cell - lighter and less fumbling/time spent during battery changes. 200 lumens off of a single CR123 for 1.5 hours sounds like they’re LED technology is at least up to date - It doesn’t specify if that runtime is regulated or not however. It probably continually dims (which could be seen as a good thing - easier to tell when your cells are running low as opposed to “POOF! No more light!”) as the cell is drained. Maybe if it came in another color besides gray.
Yes these are definitely LEDs.
And as I will probably be using this in short presses, the runtime is fine for me.
Good point on runtime rating to lumen output, will be looking for info on that.
With the generally positive reviews on their rifle lights and their adaption by Travis Haley for his line of rifles, it looks like it could be an alternative to Surefire, Streamlight, and Insight for handgun WMLs.
Other colors? The plastic they use should take Krylon easily. :D. But the rifle lights come in other colors, maybe if demand picks up they will do that for the pistol lights also.
I know they’re LEDs, I was saying that they must be using at least near-cutting edge LED technology to produce those runtimes with that output off of one CR123. Be a guinea pig and take one for the team. Buy one and mount it, make a review, and take lots of pics - on your rifle and beamshots!!! Yes! Thanks in advance! 
Would have been purchased and pics would be up already if I hadn’t just gotten an optic and mount!
Now I have to somehow “justify” it before I buy…
i have a couple - here are my initial thoughts:
- the switch is easier to use than the SF X-series lights. however, easier to accidentally activate (storing, bumping).
- lockout is enabled by rotating the head a quarter turn - so that solves the accidental activation when storing issue.
- the switch is momentary only when you press and hold for more than a certain amount of time (half second or something), or constant on when you just tap it quickly (useful for one handed operation). i have a tougher time using the X200/300 switch when shooting one handed.
- nice, bright beam.
- fits in my 6005 holster, nothing else that’s X300 compatible. but, holster makers are coming on board with it.
- rail attachment - now this is where they might have some issues to deal with. there’s a small cam lever that you flip up to open the rail grabber, then flip down to lock it. an oversize rail can cause the lever to not lock all the way down. i don’t feel that it’s as secure on the rail as the SF X-series lights, but i haven’t yet had it fall off.
i’d like to see them change the front of the housing so that it’s cross-compatible with more holsters that fit the SF X200/300 lights, so that you don’t have to buy a new holster.

Sounding gtg function-wise, I am concerned though with your comments on the mount. I will be using this with a Glock and on a Larue-railed rifle. Will it lock up well to both as it seems the cam is non-adjustable?
i don’t know - i’d like to see them incorporate some adjustability into the fixed side of the clamp like the surefire X-series light by loosening some screws so the tension can be adjusted.
Anyone try the fit in a 6378 or similar ALS holster?
