The Guardian is my go-to place for complete crazy. Proving it once again, the need for ‘strategic’ price controls to tame inflation. It’s like they didn’t learn anything from the past 100 years of economics. They force-feed money into the economy and then demand people lose weight.

The phrase, “I can explain it to you but I can’t understand it for you” comes to mind. Some just are incapable of learning.
There is at least some symmetry to it. They have queered the financial markets, govt fiscal process, and monetary policy to new crazy ends, of course you’ll have to eventually screw with the retail market.
The answer is always more command and control. Vaccines or money or anything else. That they can’t see that they are the cause of the problem is the real issue.
