wow

That is so cool.

I bet you would have to choose between buying a house or buying that machine though haha

That was incredible.

Cool for a demo… that machine would make that bolt ONE TIME before having to change out most of the tooling at those feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.

I was actually wondering about wear like that…

I was thinking, man… it’s pretty bad ass that metal cuts metal like that like a hot knife through butter.

Jay Leno wouldn’t!

Jay could probably buy one big enough to 3d print his whole house.

Yeah, but 3D printers don’t cut material. They “print” or lay it down. So feed speed, depth of cut etc., aren’t terms that apply to that particular technology.

They don’t whittle down, they build up.

AHHHH I should have specified… maybe quite erroneously haha, that most of us HERE, on M4C, would have to make the choice.

Jay isn’t here.

Can you imagine Jay building/buying AR’s? haha… talk about keepin up with the Jones’s…

I think he was referring to the second group of links, which leads you to a CNC Mill/ lathe combo, a very nice one at that, complete with an independently programmed secondary spindle.
