That’s because the Supreme Court has a thousand potential cases they have to consider every year, and even important ones, like this, are often turned away. Most often it’s because there’s no contradicting opinion found by another circuit court. It’s not necessarily because the SC majority agrees with the law.
The problem is, because most of these laws are being made by states in more liberal circuits, there hasn’t yet been a contradicting opinion. Really the only surefire way for a challenge to unconstitutional gun laws to make it to the SC is if something is passed at the federal level. Ironically, a federal AWB could end up actually ending all AWBs for the foreseeable future.
That’s the idea…the first rule of negotiation is you always ask for way more than you can get, then you “settle” for close to what you wanted in the first place…I however agree with the idea of buying your stuff now…

Because I was ready for it, the last ammo crunch did’nt affect me one bit… Anytime I needed ammo, an hour on the 650 gave me plenty to practice with…

They lead with stuff that moderates will go with, like bumpstocks, waiting period and BGC and bury the mag limits and registration.
