The downside to all of that was that of all of the things they burned in LA, they burned down the MEPPS Station.
Not only was the Military the only way out for some of those Guy’s, there was little hope otherwise. It was hard to find an “Alpha” Recruit, but they were there.

Yeah, without the Insurrection Act I think Trump is on some soft legal footing here. By federalizing them and “deploying” them to protect the federal facilities as additional security I think he is ok. That’s about as far as he can go I think, without IA.
IA is definitely needed if they bring in USMC. No grey area there.

Averageman, did you see the backgrounds of the guys they arrested that kicked off this whole thing? Exactly like you say, violent criminals. Rape, assault, assault with deadly weapon, … Many had been previously deported at least once.
That’s who these folks are protesting to protect, and they know it. They just don’t care.
