Im thinkin bout selling the m4, suggestions

I am thinking about selling one of my M4’s. I really dont know what to set the starting price off at. I am looking for suggestions on how much to sell if for. here are the details and pics.

I have a brand new Bushmaster M4 for sale. It is the new ORC Model. Which stands for optics ready carbine. It has a few aftermarket/tactical upgrades. This gun is BRAND NEW! NEVER BEEN SHOT! So for the details:

Overall Length: 36.25”
Barrel Length: 16”
Rifling: R.H. Twist – 1 turn in 9”

Weight of empty magazine: .25 lb.
Weight of loaded magazine: 1 lb.

Semi-Automatic

Upgrades:
Command Arms fore rails,(comes with factory rails as well.)
UTG aluminum fore grip.
CAA Magazine coupler.
Magpul PMAG 30 rd magazine, (comes with factory AR mag as well.)
Magpuls.
Midwest industries single point sling mount (swivel)
Daniels Defense tactical single point sling. (comes with factory sling also.)
NC Star 40mm red dot scope.
BSA 44mm red dot scope.
UTG Tactical light with touch pad on the fore grip.
UTG laser. (red)
Ergo molded grip, (comes with factory grip also.)
comes with soft tactical carrying case. Tan in color. Awesome case. Cost me 80.00 for just it

No offense but I’d sell the DD sling separately and offer the case as a freebie. Remove the list of “upgrades” and just forget about what you spent on each and every one of them. They aren’t worth anything whatsoever.

Hmmm a Shrubmaster with all my favorite China made accessories. I will give you $100 for it!

Wow…

Like the others have alluded, forget about the “upgrades” combined their total sum adds nothing to the rifle. You’ll have to find the “right” buyer to unload the rifle. TOS would probably be the perfect dumping ground. You may even find a buyer who wants the chinese knockoff “upgrades”.

Agree. Part the weapon out, put everything on TOS or Gun Broker.

The PMAG is nice.

Wait… what?

Just to re-emphasize what the others have said, the EE forum on TOS will expose the rifle to a more suitable audience. The rest of the advice, well is spot on also…

Like the others have said, that’s basically “your rifle”. To get anything close to what you have in it you should return it to stock configuration and sell the carbine as shipped, then try to sell the add ons for as much as you can get out of them.

what do you want to sell it for? the lowest bid you will take.

Sounds to me like an attempt to post a for sale ad without the requisite number of posts and without listing a price. Both of which are against site rules.

If the gun has never been shot. What performance are you happy with?

David Thomas has a valid point.

scrowell, please clean this thread up so we aren’t forced to.

Jay,
This thread is in trash. Regular members can’t see it.
