Had a reporter stop by while I was doing a demo of a DTA SRS. Of course she mentions “assault rifles” in the video before she cuts to the scene of me closing the bolt on the bolt action bullpup. lol
The DTA doesn’t come with a bolt…it’s an assault bolt. All kidding aside, I hope you were able to educate her, make her feel comfortable with our views on freedom etc…
They let the news in your gun shows? Wow you guys need to get with the show promoter and put a stop to that!!! Here in NY that’s not allowed!
No cameras in VA gun shows either. But… the news has been allowed access.

Amazing how often the local news mentions the words “automatic weapons ba"n”.
Went to a gun show a few weeks ago and they were parked outside most of the day.
Did they show the picketing rodents outside? Waving angry signs about how you had committed depredations against their relatives? 
Folks up there in the Dakotas seem to be a pretty level-headed bunch. I bet they saw theough most of the reporter’s silliness.
Here in Kalifornia, this one college student was doing a documentary thing about guns and asked if he could film inside the show, after one of the ammo booth people asked if he was pro or anti-gun, I am sure he would have been thrown out for having the wrong answer.
But I hope they interview more responsible and intelligent people, like many on this site.
I’m waiting for the follow up.
Yesterday on day 2 of the show, I saw her interviewing a guy with an AR15 that was scoped/bipod so I’m just waiting to see the “assault sniper rifle” news broadcast on it. I’m DVR’ing tonights news, so we’ll see.
Anyone that’s ever had a booth at a gun show knows the pedigree of most people walking by. If I hear one more person say “silencer” or “clip” I’m going to fucking explode. Then there is the “Silencers are illegal, right?” crowd.
I did score 8 FAT 50 cans at $20 each though. Pretty happy about that.
