If you were going to pick one load for your M1 Carbine

Sure, I’d grab an AR first, but I like the little M1 Carbine. My pick is based on just about everything I’ve read: the 110gr soft point would be the ticket. I recall reading that either GKR or Fackler said the Remington 110gr SP was equal to a .357 Magnum 158gr SP from a handgun. If that’s the case I’ll take it!

Opinions?

It’s far from a need, but having a M1 Carbine is on my wishlist.

I also keep a lot of 110 grain soft nose on hand for the same occasion. I do remember reading somewhere of the fitness of the 30 cabine with a soft nose bullet. On par with the 357 magnum.

Deseral Fusion is still available. It was the most accurate in my testing.

I assume you meant Federal Fusion? Just Googled it and Federal doesn’t show any .30 Carbine loads in the Fusion line (wish they did though).

Jeez… bad typing day I guess… yes, Federal Fusion, and “IF” still available, not “is”… being as how I also have not been seeing it.
