So far we’ve had great success with our Winter and Spring gatherings. Both of these have been two-day affairs, but for this summer I was considering a one-day workshop.
Seems like most can make Saturday, but lots have issues with Sunday. Instead of doing a two-day, I was thinking about a full (very full) one-day Saturday only.
I may be able to arrange for a day at Mapleton Gun Club in the East Canton area. Let me know. And with that comes the possibility of using our target stands, but I would have to talk to the training commander.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this, there would not be room for brand new shooters. I would require certain prerequisites for this - the reason being that we would be skipping over a lot of stuff that we have already covered in the first two gatherings, in order to maximize the training day.
Nothing personal, hope you can understand where I’m coming from on this.
Might want to look at doing a one day basic pistol as well, then a one day carbine. Doing all day of one discipline does fry folks more, but if only doing it for one day might work.
