I guess my low velocity Troy MCS firing the obsolete 7.62 round doesn’t have anything on that MP7. I have fired it at BW and although it was an interesting fast firing weapon there isn’t much else I can say about it.
I saw this little guy awhile back

Thought it was pretty cool, I actually really like the dimpled barrel.

I really like the concept and, according to Dr. Roberts, I hear the ballistics of the round are excellent within the proper envelope. However, I remember reading somewhere about problems with the weapon. I can’t remember where I read that, but I only visit three forums: This one, TheAKforum, and LF. Anyone have any info?
It’s too bad I’m in a non-SBR state…
I spoke with a rep from KAC about the rifle last week.It is still in the T&E phase.KAC has no intention of releasing the weapon to LE or providing a semi-auto version for individual LEO or civillian purchase.
Nice weapon, but…the problem is with all of the PDW weapons is the exotic “not common” calibers, including the FN 5X7. Ammo is very hard to find and expensive for the FN. If they ever get off the ground and into production, it will be cost prohibited to all but the very dedicated, well off and Fed/Mil agencies.
