If you purchased everyhting on this list, you would probably have spent the amount necessary to just buy a second upper of better known quality like DD or BCM. I would think about that before putting a bunch of frosting on what you already have.
Had you read the entire thread you would see that I do intend to buy a better rifle in the near future. Buying a better upper would not have helped with trigger on the rifle in any way so The single largest expenditure so far (trigger group and ambi safety)would not apply to the cost of the upper. That being said, while I do agree a better original purchase may have been smarter, I am happy with the rifle and what I am asking is how can I improve it. Your smart a** response had no useful info in it at all. Thanks for your time.

If the gun runs as you intend, then just get a BCG. Do YOU find it lacking in anything? Upgrade what you need, spend the rest on your DD or BCM.
you better watch YOUR smart mouth around here. talk about this community being intimidating… you’re the one coming in here acting like a hot head. listen, i thought his comment was rather helpful and straightforward. you said you would appreciate any thought on your build and as well as any suggestions. cool it. if you have 5k through your stag, i’d replace the barrel and bcg. the upper and lower receivers are probably fine. aside from that, i would replace the gimmicky jp stuff and make sure your lp gb is pinned. there’s MY thoughts and suggestions. gonna get smart with me, too?
OP, it looks like you are still online so maybe you’ll see this. By his comments, I think Winfield may not have realized you had already made the mods you listed. So, maybe you jumped the gun a little. I encourage you to stick around a bit, realizing you’ll learn more here than anywhere else on the web.
You do have to have thick skin around here. But you learn a lot.
