this is a pretty weird post… and there’s not really an answer. if you keep the weapon thoroughly loobed, you probably dont “need” to clean it at all.
but since the extractor is not in any way difficult to clean, or any more difficult than any other component, i’m not sure why you’d not want to clean it, but apparently have no problem cleaning all other parts of the action… considering how important it is to function.
Not until the malfunction costs you more than a few points on the range.
You don’t have to clean the extractor hell you can go thousands of rounds with out cleaning the gun :eek: All you have to do is keep it wet with oil.
Try the search function there are multiple threads showing AR’s being used with out cleaning.

The extractor takes a whopping 5 seconds to clean. I can see how you wouldn’t want to. 
Old toothbrush + gun oil + 10 seconds = no excuse not to clean it.
In the time you spent posting today you could have had it cleaned.
And its done. Yes, I feel better.:o
