I believe Obama will be our next President(Typing that sentence actually made me feel sick!).
I am overwhelmed with thoughts of economic hardship,goverment waste,additional welfare programs,higher taxes,and gun bans.Do you think I am paranoid or am I justified in believing he will change the American way of life forever.Change is his montra.
I am curious about what all of you will do to prepare for a potential and enevitable gun ban. Will you buy more guns,stock up on magazines or ammo, or do nothing?
Don’t worry, the economy is already imploding now to a great depression.
it takes a lot more than the president to implement the plans you are worried about…
there are a huge number of pro gun democrats that have to get elected by their rural constituents in 2 years…
plus, i believe Obama, if nothing else, has seen how volatile a topic the 2A is…

That’s incorrect. Clinton had a democrat US House UNTIL the election of 1994, less than 2 months after the AWB. The AWB lost the US House for the dems.
Remember, the last 2 presidential elections all the major polls had it wrong. If you’re that worried get out and work for McCain, make phone calls, stuff envelopes etc.

In 1994 it cost the professional gun haters a HUGE struggle, and a very narrow vote, to pass the Clinton AWB, followed three months later by the voters giving control of Congress to the Republicans, which even the New York Times admitted was largely due to voter displeasure with the AWB.

The election will be decided in the court system and McCain will prevail.
The people who “really” run this country are not going to turn it over to

It is not over yet! The number of conservatives in this country is said to be 59% compared to 34% liberals and the other 7% lost in space. Do not go negative or give up because some polls say Obama is leading. We have to keep moving forward and we can win. Be sure to vote no matter what the media is telling us. Part of the strategy is to make us feel defeated so we won’t bother voting, while they put on voter registration drives, take people to the polls and pay people to vote. Obama must be defeated as Gore and Kerry were. :mad:

I experienced the realitvely good years before the 94 AWB…then saw availability of items dwindle and prices go sky high during that crappy ten year period. Saw manufactures tweak minor things to comply with the ban also. Wepons kept churning out. With the exception of the BS implemented by some sates that still lives today…I survived in tact like others did.
Makes my gut hurt to think about Obama being POTUS. The man is evil and those following him are the worst kind of blind sheep. The possibility of him being elected and those type of people coming into power is sickening to me as God only knows what else these fools will try to through at our country.
Will another ban come into place…it could.

Ammo and small parts…you can have it but if you can’t run it or repair it what good is it?
I guess a better question would be:
If Obama is elected,would you buy semi-auto rifles and handguns or use the money to buy magazines,spare parts,and ammunition?I believe speculation will drive the cost of these things up;but what will be most affected?
Not that I’m a quitter or waving the white flag, but I’ve been buying ammo, magazines and guns for almost a year. My main reason for buying ammo and magazines is that it’s better to buy them when they’re on sale than waiting until you need them and have to pay outrageous price. Ammo won’t spoil and neither do magazines. Also if you buy a little at a time, you won’t feel the impact on your wallet quite as hard.
I had worked with over 100 ‘blacks’ for the last 8 years til I was laid off and listened to their comments about this country and it leaders.
I had a guy call me last week whom I worked with a guy I have known for almost 20 years a guy who with less seniority than me who had retained HIS job 
trying ‘to get in my face’ about BHO and I plainly put it that those in this country who wont follow our leaders should seek residency elsewhere. I told him the boat is rocking because of that kind of thinking … he hung up.
I may agree w/ BHO -IF- he had cleaned up the streets and some progressive movement had begun towards pro-social improvement and if videos recently being ‘spun’ on youtube were based on higher learning principles math, science ENGLISH etc you know shown true leadership. HOWEVER here in
St Louis we have surpassed the 130 murder mark for 2008 and if community leaders cannot control their populace then its no more than the genocide that happens in South Africa everyday. IMO …thats why our 2A will prevail and McCain will be our next POTUS.

Clinton was the only Dem elected in the last 28 years. He ran so centrist that even many Republicans voted with the Dems and the undecided’s. Everyone knows that Obama is a far left wing nut. His policies are copied right from Marxist doctrines.
While the talking heads are trying to convince us all that BHO has already won, it won’t reflect the numbers at the polls in November.
Just do, what good Americans do. Sit on your stash, go to work, pay your mortgage and loans, and vote. The immigrants and socialists haven’t taken over, yet.
