Who do you think serious contenders for being a moderator would be if a few of them were to retire because of the Ebola thread being too much to moderate?
My first pick is Will Brink. Followed closely by MarkM just because he is always here.

I’ve been up all night. Admittedly I am a little “off” my chemical normal, but I don’t see why this would result in a lock. I suppose we could go back to blaming Obama for everything and discussing the decay of our country. Such positivity.

IIRC, sometime ago, there was an open vote to replace someone that left or stepped down. Not sure how exactly that turned out or how that whole thing started but the idea seems logical to me. I’m a littel hammered myself and cannot think of someone to theoretically vote in at this point in time but I’m sure there are a couple of deserving long-time members around.
